Dear Marin Rose Society Members,
We are very excited to welcome you to your/our new website!
Keeping up with technology is an ongoing exercise and we hope to provide your rose growing needs as thoroughly as our older website design did.
Feel free to browse throughout and let us know if you want additional features to help us to carry out our mission: To encourage and support the cultivation and appreciation of roses through education, publication and demonstration.
Connie and Maryellen
George and Mary grow more than 800 rose bushes in their garden. They include Hybrid Teas, Grandifloras, Floribundas, Climbers, Shrubs, Miniatures and a few Old Garden roses. They judge about five rose shows a year including new introductions at Rose Hills International test garden in the Los Angles area. They have judged 6 or 7 District and National rose shows and International rose shows in England, Glasgow, New Zealand, Japan and Canada. My wife and I grow them all, Hybrid Tea, Floribunda, Mini, Shrub, Climber and OGRs, with Shrubs, Climbers and OGR s our favorites. We started growing roses in the early and have been exhibitors for about 15 years, winning many ribbons and trophies. I have been an American Rose Society horticulture judge for 10 years, judging many local, district and national shows. I also served as District Chairman of Judges for the Pacific Southwest District of the American Rose Society for a 3 year period. This is not our first World Rose Convention having attended Rose World 1994 in Christchurch, New Zealand, a real treat in our many rose experiences.
