- Join us for a webinar presentation by Thomas Proll, Chief Hybridizer of Kordes Roses as he tells us a little history on the KORDES nursery / family, continuing to explain major goals of their breeding program without going too much into technical details, focusing on rose varieties that have been released during his active time working for KORDES, that will be 30 years next year. Thomas will cover roses we are quite familiar with, introduced in cooperation with their former agency NEW FLORA and out current STAR ROSES & PLANTS, but he will also touch newer assortments that have met limited interest for in North America, like the Kordes NectarGarden-Collection of insect friendly roses, their SEE YOU-Collection of Persica hybrids or the SILUETTA-Collection of re-blooming Ramblers – not to tease you, but to give you an idea what kind of trends take place in the old part of the world.
