DESCRIPTION:The Marin Rose Society is delighted to welcome Rebecca Koraytem\, the US Sales Executive for David Austin Roses!  She will be speaking on ‘New Varieties and New Trends for Roses in Gardens’.  We look forward to her very special expertise in this area to help inform our garden planning for 2021.  As almost all California gardeners love David Austin Roses\, this presentation will be of great interest to our MRS members and guests! \nA bit more about Rebecca in particular:  A sought-after speaker and educator\, Rebecca Koraytem is the U. S. Sales Executive for David Austin Roses and has held this coveted position since 2014. Aside from sales\, she provides technical and retail support to customers in the U. S. and Canada. \nPrior to joining David Austin Roses\, Rebecca served as a garden editor for Southern Living magazine for 15 years. An award-winning writer and designer\, she is an active member of GardenComm\, a non-profit association that provides diverse interactions for professionals in the field of garden communications. \nRebecca has gardened professionally in both the South and the Pacific Northwest Regions of the United States. She served as a judge for the International Rose Trials hosted at Biltmore Estates in Asheville\, North Carolina\, and served as a Society Board member for the North Carolina Arboretum. Rebecca holds a MS and BS in Horticulture from Clemson University\, Clemson\, South Carolina.
